All Tamarindxs are required to be involved in formation groups. These groups are based on age and meet regularly to discuss current issues, community organization and other issues which include:

The Tamarindo Foundation provides health, safety, and prosperity in El Salvador by engaging community members in faith based educational, leadership, and economic opportunities so Salvadorans can thrive in their home country. Since the end of the civil war in 1992, the Tamarindo Foundation has been a proven alternative to forced migration, gangs and violence in El Salvador.
